A brilliant ten minute excerpt from Les Misérables was shown at the Royal Variety Performance this month and finished with the quartet of Valjeans: Alfie Boe, Simon Bowman, John Owen-Jones and Colm Wilkinson singing ‘Bring Him Home’, as they did at the O2 concert. This song, which was released as a single for iTunes download or to buy as a CD in support of Tickets for Troops, is now in the top ten.
Les Mis at 25: Matt Lucas Dreams the Dream, a behind the scenes documentary from the O2 concert, is on BBC 2 on 29 December at 8pm.
